75% of adults with employer-provided coverage reported that their coverage was important to maintaining health and financial security during the pandemic.
7 out of 10 report their employer coverage was helpful in accessing services like free testing, vaccination and telehealth appointments.
That vast majority (76%) consider it important for their coverage to cover telehealth services.
75% of consumers with employer-provided coverage report they’re likely to consider telehealth if it’s an option.
56% of those with employer-provided coverage report what they currently pay for coverage overall is reasonable.
64% reported what they pay for prescription drug costs is reasonable.
66% support the current tax treatment of employer-provided coverage.
52% would be less likely to vote for a lawmaker who supports legislation weakening employer-provided coverage.

As officials brace for a spike in COVID-19 cases this winter, the federal government has extended the COVID-19 public health emergency through January 11. First declared in January 2020 and renewed every 90 days since, the public health emergency has drastically changed how health services are delivered.
This declaration enables the emergency authorization of vaccines, testing and treatments for free. It also expands Medicaid coverage to millions of people, many of whom will risk losing that coverage when the emergency concludes. Lastly, it temporarily opens up telehealth access for Medicare recipients, enabling doctors to collect the same rates for those visits.

The Court found that the plaintiff hospital health plan did not discriminate against patients with ESRD by paying less for dialysis than other treatments. The reason behind the ruling was that the court found that the plan provides the same coverage uniformly for all kidney-care patients.
